British International School Gdansk (BISG) is a successful international school providing quality
education to children from the ages of 2,5 to 16 through the medium of the English language.
We offer a dual curriculum using the British system as a framework, modified to suit the needs of
our international intake as well as the Polish Curriculum. Our students represent over 40 different
nationalities.
British International School Gdańsk is looking for a psychologist to join our preschool team.
The main duties will include:
- Conducting psychological assessments of preschool-aged children.
- Preparing psychological reports on students.
- Providing guidance on methods of work, forms of assistance, and types of necessary adjustments for students with special educational needs.
- Conducting individual and group therapeutic sessions.
- Supporting children in coping with emotional and social difficulties.
- Collaborating with parents to support the psychological development of their children.
- Offering advice and consultations to teachers and parents on educational matters.
- Collaborating with the preschool team to create optimal conditions for children’s
development.
Wymagania
- Higher education in psychology, preferred specializations: child psychology, developmental
psychology. - Pedagogical preparation
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Ability to establish rapport with children and parents.
- Strong communication skills and empathy.
- Advanced English skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
